The focus of my practice is returning injured athletes of all levels back to their activities as quickly and as safely as possible. This can include nonoperative modalities such as physical therapy, bracing, injections, and medications. I completed an additional sports medicine fellowship emphasizing shoulder, elbow, and knee arthroscopy in an effort to provide the most advanced and best possible surgical care for my patients. I maintain memberships within the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine in order to keep up with the most recent advances in both arthroscopy and sports medicine. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and have an additional subspecialty certificate in Sports Medicine. I am also involved with ongoing arthroscopic rotator cuff repair research and the teaching of arthroscopic shoulder surgery to practicing orthopedic surgeons and those in training.
I specialize in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. This includes nonoperative as well as operative care of the following conditions.
arthroscopic rotator cuff repair for rotator cuff tears, impingement, and rotator cuff tenditis
arthroscopic shoulder Bankart stabilization for shoulder instability and dislocations
shoulder replacement and arthroplasty for arthritis
arthroscopic glenoid resurfacing for arthritis in the young athlete
elbow arthroscopy for tennis elbow, elbow contracture, loose bodies, and elbow arthritis
arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction for ACL tears and knee instability
athroscopic medial meniscus repair and meniscectomy for meniscal tears
